Mokhtar's Young Social Entrepreneurs Contest
A contest to promote creativity and entrepreneurship amongst Tinzar's youth
The contest will be launched during the school year of 2019-2020. It is a chance for the elementary students to develop and showcase their creativity through entrepreneurial action and business innovation. Project holders will work with their teachers and mentors/parents on developing an "idea" that could help benefit the citizens of their village or region. The holders of the winning ideas will be rewarded with up t $1,000 to turn their ideas into reality!
Current Project
Women's Development Center
Our newest initiative consists of building and opening a center for women and youth development. Different classes will be offered in the center to help fight illiteracy in the village among women and girls and teach women of different ages skills that can help them better provide for their families. Classes will include artisanal craftsmanship, cooking, entrepreneurship and more. Additionally, this is a safe place for everyone to share their knowledge, ideas, thoughts and tips. The center is set to be located right next to the village's school and will be open during weekdays as well as weekends.

Pre-school
We are proud to announce that the pre-school project has launched and is close to completion. The goal of this project is to provide a space for pre-school children to have a space to play and learn before being of school age. Working parents can also have a chance to drop their kids and be assured that they are prepared to access the village's elementary school. Thanks to everyone who contributed with time, financing, and support.
Done Project
Cemetery Retrofitting
The project included the landscaping and maintenance of the village's cemetery, mobilizing volunteers amongst Tinzar's residents and raised funds from different generous donors.
